In this article, I share the secret of my success.
What became evident for me in the process of developing my career is realizing that the key to gaining tremendous success in life is in the ability to be present. Being present to what it is I have to offer and to who I am offering it to and having the awareness to know what kind of a difference my services and skills make in the world is the key.
This is what has brought me tremendous success.
In consideration of what I have to offer, I developed the keen ability to look at the markets and understand in the moment, what is really happening. Through the ability to observe, track and understand the buying and selling of shares, the amount of money and the changes in those trends, I gained the ability to predict what the market is going to do next.
No one else had ever done what I was doing, yet, I discovered that this special skill I developed actually works well in gaining an edge in understanding how the market operates and how to gain the most from it, creating tremendous success, for me and for my clients.
Through that awareness of what was really happening in the markets, I came up with a great idea that makes a difference for the one who uses the stock market to make money and for becoming successful.
First, I created a service that makes a difference and that service is counting supply and demand of shares, stocks and money in the markets.
Next, you may be asking, “Who cares about such a thing?”
“Who cares about such a thing”, required me to be present to the potential audience or customers who use this type of service and require this type of data. The biggest audience would be hedge fund managers because they manage millions of dollars and make 20% profit with their services and fees. Lots of money can be made in this type of industry so they really have an edge.
In order for my services to be helpful, I had to listen to their needs, not tell them what I had that I thought they needed. And each hedge fund manager was unique in their need. This required me to listen each time, to each person I engaged with as to how they listen to someone who may be approaching them with what I had to offer, something that could make them a lot of money.
From there, I had to address the need into their style of listening, and over time, at least a third of the largest hedge fund managers on the planet became clients of mine at one time or another.
At the same time, I was able to figure out through observing supply and demand, how to offer a fund that no one else was offering: TRIMTABS Free Cash Flow,. ETFC. Ticker tab: TTAC. You can look it up in your stock market quotes, see the history and compare the results with the overall market.
Again, this ability came from being fully present to what was happening with the market, and to those who truly care about that kind of information.
I have been on CNBC for 25 years at least, about once a month, on average. I share according to what the audience really wants to hear from me; what I have that can really make a difference to the audience, the listeners, the people who are interested in the stock market, retail, or institutional. That is who I am addressing in my conversation. I’m being fully present with them.
Again, this is the secret of my success, to be fully present to what I have to offer, who I am offering it to, and delivering it in a way that the receiver finds friendly and can get it.
This is obviously addressable to anyone who is listening and can even be explained in simpler English.
We all have something to offer that makes a difference. Whether it is working as an hourly wage employee at an office job, or taking care of customers in a restaurant, or providing some artistic or graphic service, or whatever it is you have that is valuable to others. By being fully present to what it is that you have, maximizing your value and then, listening to who the potential customer is, you find the true secret to success.
Maybe it is an employer, a restaurant owner or business man or business woman, whatever it is that you have to offer, all of us have something of value to offer and that requires that we be fully present to what it is: the need for what we have and the style of how the other is listening to what we have to offer.
At the same time, it is important to make sure that we know what it is that we have to listen to when we are listening to who it is that needs the service.
We need to understand how they hear what we have to offer, and how they listen to what we have to say.
In summation, the secret of my success is to be present to what I have and to be present to who needs it and the world around me and most importantly, how the other is listening to me in that moment when I am sharing what I have to offer them, addressing their needs.
